UzCE and Bank of Georgia: take steps towards mutually beneficial cooperation.
Rashid Usmanov, the General Director of the Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange (UzCE), met with representatives of the Bank of Georgia (Georgia) to discuss the prospects for cooperation between the financial institutions.
The meeting focused on the procedures for Bank of Georgia becoming a dealer at UzCE and opening an account for foreign nominee holders in UzCE's depository system.

Representatives from the Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange (UZCE), led by CEO Rashid Usmanov, attended the annual general meeting of members of the International Association of Exchanges of the CIS Countries. The event, held in Samarkand, brought together key specialists from the CIS stock market business.The IAB brings together 20 exchanges from ten CIS countries and serves as a hub for the exchange of knowledge and debate of critical issues concerning the development of financial markets.

Rashid Usmanov, CEO of the Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange, held a meeting with representatives of Bloomberg.
The company was represented at the meeting by Odil Kasimov, Head of Sales of electronic trading solutions, and Zhanan Khan, Customer relations specialist for electronic trading solutions.
The UZCE market makers’ list is enlarged
The status of a market maker was assigned to the primary dealers of the government securities market (GS) - JSCB “Kapitalbank”, JSC “Asakabank”, JSCB “Ipotekabank” and JSCB “Business Development Bank” after signing the relevant agreements with the UZCE.
These commercial banks will start performing the functions of a market maker from March 1 of this year.
